The location was fantastic. We took a lovely taxi boat across the harbour from where my daughter caught 5 crabs earlier. The hotel was a very pleasant base.

A very attractive setting, beautiful restored barns and lots of thoughtful additions to make your stay special. The staff could not be nicer every day they were super friendly, kind and genuine. When we arrived all rooms had a cream tea waiting for us, great facilities in all rooms and little things like milk from the farm topped up every day ready and waiting for your tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent! This is a really special little place with kind, lovely people. Thank you!

Such a lovely room. Beautiful furnishings, excellent bathroom, amazing shower! And lovely gift on arrival in the room. Breakfast was continental with an offer of cooked eggs. Everyone sits together in a lovely dining room, which we really liked. Staff were great. A little out of town, but very quiet.

I'd been to Looe a few times over the past 50 years, had never stayed but knew it'd be a place I enjoy. It's full of tiny streets and alleyways, has a small working fishing port, a sandy beach with a little prom, boat trips, good places to eat (JuJu's Tapas, Daisy's Cafe, Chennai Indian Fusion, Sarah's Pasties for takeaway pasties & cream teas), a beautiful branch line railway up to Liskeard, it's close to places like Talland Bay & Polperro and not very far from the Rame Peninsula, Cawsand and Mount Edgecumbe to the east. The SW coast path goes through Looe so plenty of nice coastal walking to be had. Don't forget beautiful little Looe Island nature reserve just offshore, visitable by short boat trip.
Looe is slow to navigate in a car due to its small streets being busy with meandering pedestrians, but that's all part of the fun and as a result it's a nice place to wander round with very little traffic.
The only place I wouldn't go back to is the Pier Cafe where we had breakfast one day. It has a v nice location by the beach but is overpriced and the food is average. Go up the hill to quirky little Daisy's Cafe instead! If you're over in West Looe at Hannafore, be sure to get an al fresco coffee or lunch at Hannafore Kiosk which is excellent.
Overall it's a friendly, interesting, pretty place with a nice atmosphere which exceeded my expectations. Helped that we had sunshine all week in mid-May!

Beautiful fishing village.
Beautiful fishing village. Made to feel welcome but, as with many Cornish villages parking is a nightmare especially if you are disabled. Only two disabled parking bays in the whole of Looe and in the week we spent there they were invariably taken up by NON Blue Badge holders.
The Promenade in East Looe was a joy with a wonderful council run kiosk half way down the mile or so long promenade. Those guys deserve a raise! Easy to park there with grand views of the Island. We went there most days and consumed our body weight in ice cream purchased from said kiosk.
Eating in Looe is also a joy, well stocked with eateries at all standards but almost always offering very fresh fish that is worth the trip on its own. The Coddy Shack is well worth the trip just outside Looe though.

Looe is the sort of place you would go to get away from the everyday of city life I moved from Devon to Bristol a few years ago and wanted somewhere quiet and this was absolutely it, it felt like another world! Despite the rain we went on loads of walks perfect for the dog there is a lot of hidden gems and loads of history to be found. Personally it was perfect for two of us plus a Labrador, maybe less so for children unless you’re willing to travel further afield for day trips! Definitely recommend Kelly’s fish and chips.

Beautiful Looe!
Beautiful Looe! Weather was wild and a challenge with big gusts of wind and heavy rain. Restaurants closed relatively early especially when travelled from far and arriving later than 8pm. Locals very friendly. Bit disappointed with the quality of fish food in 2 restaurants.

It has lovely shops and many places to eat, a lovely place to visit.
But can be very busy so plan ahead for food and parking, like booking up if want to go to a particular restaurant! Please make sure you book even before arriving if going in a busy time of year, parking just go straight to main large car park as will waste time trying to get into small ones by harbour unless mid winter as very busy.
Property is in an excellent location for discovering Cornwall’s finest and the local area too.
Well furnished and clean with all services to a very good standard, clearly the hosts have given attention to detail in choice of furnishings. Met our expectations as a couple.
Car parking good value for 24 hours rate if needed at Millpool car park nearby.
Although November and lots of restaurants and cafes closed we had some lovely evening meals in Looe.
Breakfast served every morning provided a broad selection of high-quality items, prepared and delivered to perfection by the nicest hosts imaginable, Stephanie and Andrew. They made our stay delightful and we’re accommodating to all our needs during the stay. The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The view from our windows were terrific. The TV and wifi were better than other locations in Cornwall.
Location was a great base for exploring Polperro and Looe. It's a nice, quiet site which was perfect for us.
The caravan was clean and tidy with almost everything you need. There were additional touches such as books and DVDs which was nice.
Check in was nice and easy, we received a message a couple of days before with all the info and we didn't have any problems upon arrival.
It has been a long time since I enjoyed such a delicious breakfast. The care and attention shown by the host and hostess towards making my stay a truly memorable experience, was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a home from home for 4 nights and if I go back to Looe I will definitely stay there again. Thank you 😊
Location was fantastic, view of the river/estuary was brilliant, and constantly changing. The great town of Looe was just across the bridge. We had total freedom to come and go as we wanted, car park was near, with unloading Bay nearby. Of course, Cornwall was within access either driving or via bus routes outside the door.
Lovely property in a small, quiet village. Spacious lounge/dining room and lovely decor throughout. Spotlessly clean.
Nice garden and would be an excellent place for children to play. Lots of family board games available.
We used the property as a base while travelling to different parts of Cornwall daily.
Guest House was very well located in centre of Looe. Rooms were very well appointed and immaculately clean. Communications were great throughout with clear instructions on how to let myself in late and the cooked breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I'd definitely return and recommend it to others!
Beautiful location, a handy base for a tour of Cornwall. Good facilities, clean and comfortable with good bed. Very friendly and helpful host. Very attractive cottage. Easy parking. We loved the rural outlook while still being within easy drive to a good small supermarket and choice of country pubs.
Ideal location for exploring Cornwall. Cannot comment on staff as it was self check-in and checkout so we didn't actually meet anyone. Nonetheless, all instructions were very clear
Apartment was good had everything we needed and a stunning view.
Apartment was very clean and really impressed with all the appliances, never been away and you have a dishwasher and tablet s
The whole experience was very quite and peaceful holiday, good as a base for seeing most of Cornwall like we did.
The room had everything we needed and was a great bargain night. It over looked the harbour and was quiet. The Harbour Moon supplied plenty in the room for breakfast so it didn't matter that they don't do a breakfast.
Lovely room with an amazing view over the river and Looe. Far exceeded our expectations. A very comprehensive breakfast was available, couldn't fault anything. Pleasure to stay there and will definitely go back.
The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. Really well equipped, it was the perfect base for our adventures around Cornwall.
Good communication from the hosts too
Great Location from the train station. Central location on the West Quay with great views of the harbour. Great destination to use as a base to visit local areas.
