Very nice hotel with a good breakfast and comfortable beds. It is a bit far from center but a big plus of the hotel is that for a very law price you are given a guest card which you can use for public transport all over Chur and have discounts for Brambuesch Bahn and free entrance to some museums and other places of interest. And it is very significant as prices in Switzerland leave much to be desired. The bus stop is a few meters away from the hotel Sommerau. Also, despite the fact that the hotel is in the suburbs and close to the main road, you almost don't hear the noise due to the good isolation.

The facilities are beautiful; my room was small but really comfortable and clean. The location is fairly near the train station and restaurants.

Location was great - short walk from the train station and easy to find, but quiet at night and close to eateries. I was particularly impressed by the availability of electrical adapters when I didn’t even ask. Staff were wonderful and helpful, they made me feel welcome and took time to answer my questions. The room was clean and well-equipped; overall a very comfortable stay.

The Ibis Chur is located in the South part of Chur close to the A13 motorway, an important route to the Ticino and Italy.

I like the fact that the room is 8 minutes walk from the train station, the surrounding is quiet. There are lots of shops around where you could go feed your eyes or shop if you like. There are also bars around if you want to go sit out for a drink. David indeed was exceptionally nice to us, and we look forward to going back there...And it was super cheap for such a beautiful room, and it's surrounding as well. Tschiertschen is a magical place, and Alpina Resort is the place to stay if anyone wants to explore this area. The hotel is strategically located, offers stunning views of the village, and provides skiers and snowboarders with the ski to door option. The quality of the hotel's restaurant is very high while the service of Dimitar and the rest of the staff was exceptional, something that was highly appreciated as we stayed there during the busy Christmas period. All very friendly and always helpful. Very highly recommended. We are definitely going back to this one.
