This is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in in a long life of travelling. My room was well designed, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with careful attention to detail. Every member of staff was friendly and professional. I especially appreciated the home made lemonade I received on arrival. I have been visiting Syros for 40 years and if you are looking for a beach holiday, Finikas is the place to stay ! Lots of excellent places to eat and very good public transport connections. The hotel had thought to include a bus timetable in my room and an electric kettle so I could make a much needed cup of tea. What a pleasure to stay in a hotel that really thinks about the comfort of its guests.

The vibe, the location, the rooms and the staff where all excellent! The location was perfect, right next to the beach and the restaurants. They also had a beach towel service that you could borrow and take to any beach.

My main reasons for choosing to stay here, considering it was a bit more expensive than other hotels in Galissas, were these: Breakfast included, close to the beach, close to nature, and the pool. I ended up only using the pool once, and at other hotels that might’ve made me regret my choice, but here it doesn’t even matter. My stay was perfect. The rural surroundings, the delicious, locally (as in from the village’s farm-local!) produced food, the comfortable room and shower, the wonderfully scented complimentary shower products, and the generally relaxing, fun vibe of the place are reasons enough to earn this place a 10/10 … but what truly elevated my experience were the owners, siblings Sofia and Nicolas. They are truly wonderful people – so fun, lively, kind and caring. I always felt taken care of, and it only took a few days here before I truly felt as a part of the gang. I can’t wait to return some day. Until then, Nicolas: Give Snowy and Soula lots of kisses from me! And I will try to stress less and enjoy the view more the next time you drive me to the port. Sofia, stay true to your loving, funny, wonderful self!

This is fantastic hotel. All make with soul and honest. It’s cool please for Instagram shots. Room was clean every day perfectly. Breakfast was teasty. Everywhere is so comfortable and beautiful. Also there is beautiful hotel beach. It’s was perfect 10 days in this hotel. Thank you owner and his family to make our trip the best.
