Literally I enjoyed everything in this hotel. From the best, bountiful dinners & breakfasts, through the onsen on your private terrace, incredible coziness and really nice spa area with baths & sauna. I would go back there during my next visit in Japan

Our stay at Fujiya was exceptional. The hotel has a grand, old world charm to it in a Japanese style. There were amazing details to see in the building itself and the grounds. Service was amazing by the staff who all spoke good English. Food was wonderful and served in a very classy full service style with silverware. The gardens and koi pond were beautiful in the autumn. The onsen spa also was great after a long day's sightseeing. It was a truly memorable experience to stay here and a highlight of our trip.

This is a midcentury modern hotel - in terms of architecture - absolutely beautiful. The furniture doesn't match, its nice, but this hotel has so much potential. The common areas are very Japanese, very clean, and very nice, eg takami floors throughout. The breakfast is fantastic - definitely book it with breakfast. The overall feeling is very zen - very relaxing. We booking a room in the new part - absolutely new, clean, and amazing. Room was huge. Beds very comfortable. Loved that they had so many different soaps and creams. Highly recommend the hotel! I read some reviews that they try to nickel and dime guests - thats NOT true. They sell the things I think most Japanese expect, eg a free tooth brush for really symbolic prices - 50 euro/us cents and have a free coffee station in the lobby.

Everything. Room is modern and spacious, private onsen is the best. The hotel it self very suitable for family holiday.
