The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. The room was cozy and offered a beautiful view. The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented and portions were generous. The hotel did not forget the two dishes we added when we booked the hotel. The added dishes of fried sea bream bones and the braised fish head were nicely prepared and were very good value for money. The quality of the dishes was superb. Most enjoyable and relaxing stay. I wish I had time for one more night! Must come back.

New hotel in front of Fukuyama station. Everything is new, awesome bathroom, room is spacious and nice view to Fukuyama castle. Check in process a little bit tricky, but modern. Nice food places in area around and good location, train station and main bus station is in 2 minutes walk from hotel.

I had a very nice and comfortable, wonderful experience at Shiokaze Guesthouse for a week. The acommodation is very clean, has a laundry and drying machine, a kitchen with fridge and microwave... it's less than a 10 minute walk to the area of restaurants. And Emi-san is lovely, helpful and a pleasure to meet. 恵美さん、色々ありがとうございました！

Great reception staff. Large room - view of the castle was amazing!! Well worth the small extra fee. Breakfast was included and was excellent!!

Breakfast was very good. I enjoyed local foods. A variety of Japanese cuisines are available, and all of them taste good. Although the hotel is located near the airport, I had no noise in the room. It is very quiet.
