The staff are what made it for us, they were so kind and lovely. We also enjoyed the traditional breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Eco Guest House - Sarapiquí 1 se encuentra en Sarapiquí, a 33 km de Catarata La Paz y a 35 km de Jardines de la Catarata La Paz. This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

La Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn se encuentra en Heredia, a 10 km del aeropuerto internacional Juan Santamaría, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante de granja a mesa, piscina de borde infinito... Incredible property. Wonderful rooms and facilities. Should have stayed longer! Spa, pool and views were amazing. Definitely recommend coffee tour and tasting. Staff super friendly and helpful. The staff was very welcoming and always happy to help. The location is incredible, in the middle of the tree. The owner spent the evening talking to us and was very warm. The hotel is huge and the work done to build it is incredible - it truly is a piece of art.
