I had a wonderful stay at Fano Kroogard. This is lovely waterside boutique hotel on the island of Fano. It is perfectly situated on the North side of the island. It is 5 minutes by walk from the ferry and 20 minutes by bike to the beach, with bikes available to rent on site. The whole property has a calm and cozy ambience. There is a reading nook on the main floor, and a terrace overlooking the waterfront. The decor is so well done with so much attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. If you manage to get a suite overlooking the water, you’ll be able to take in the wildlife of the Wadden sea, and see seals out your window. There is a restaurant on the main floor that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. As a hotel guest, the breakfast in the morning is a choice between several local inspired dishes. I had several different meals at the restaurant and every time the food was delicious. For lunch they offer traditional open sandwiches and for dinner several vergetable and seafood entrees. The restaurant is clearly a favourite spot on the island among locals, as it was always full. Above all, the staff is so lovely and they made my stay extra special. They upgraded me to a lovely room with a seaside view and provided excelled recommendations of things to do on the island. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Located in Sønderborg, Alsik – Hotel & Spa features free WiFi. The property has a fitness centre, as well as a terrace. Guests can make use of a bar. At the hotel, every room is fitted with a desk. Fantastic hotel, lovely rooms with great view. Very clean, everything you need at the right location. Great shower. Very good breakfast buffet with a lot of choices of fine products. Travelled a lot but this is the best breakfast buffet so far. Too bad that I was only there for one night on business.

Το Hotel Koldingfjord περιβάλλεται από δάσος και στεγάζεται σε ένα εντυπωσιακό κτήριο του 1911, σε απόσταση μόλις 12 λεπτών οδικώς από το κέντρο του Kolding. Well.. a nice surprise. A few years ago, a colleague stayed a few times and did not rate the place. Not sure if it's changed ownership, but it's a beautiful, quirky building, very nicely restored in a mid century kind of way. I was in a room in the 700s which are on the hillside through a James Bond villain tunnel and lift. Nicely appointed room, well done bathroom all super clean. And an actual minibar. With things in it. Proper cups for coffee, not paper. A former colleague joined for dinner in the Cafe, with well presented food and good service, the downstairs bar is really a hidden gem too. All in all, way exceeded my expectations and thoroughly recommend it.

In the center of Vejle, surrounded by the luscious green city park, you’ll find The Note. We are an international hotel of high standards. We are elegant and understated – just like Vejle. Lot of flowers everywhere, very nice interior. Very nice staff

Abstrahując od pięknej okolicy, w samym domku moje oczy odpoczywały, bo był zacnie urządzony, a na ścianach wisiały namalowane przez właścicielkę (świetne!) obrazy. Domki nie były zagracone, a znalazło się w nich wszystko co potrzeba.

A charming, big, sunny apartment with two bedrooms, full kitchen and dining area. The bathroom was very good. The street is quiet and pretty. It is just off the main pedestrian street and a five minute walk from most of the major sites. The manager also manages the Cafe Quenens around the corner. She is terrific and full of information. The cafe is great and has a lovely rose garden in the back with tables. Breakfast at the cafe is include and was very good.

We liked everything. The location is perfect, right in the center of Bogense, and there is a designated parking spot. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable and there was a nice kitchen next door which was great. Freddy, the host, put an American flag in front of the entrance, a nice welcome. He was so kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a typical Danish spread, very nice, and we ate upstairs in a beautiful room filled with sunlight. The very best thing for us at this property was to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden. Pictures below.
