I will forever be grateful and thankful for how the management and staff of this hotel treated my wife and her mother. My 8 month pregnant wife and her mother fled gun fire on a 25+ hour bus ride from Khartoum to aswan . They were held at the border for several hours . The hotel pushed our dates and checked them in late . They were very hospitable. I recommend this hotel for families, their attention to details for your needs is very professional.

Το Meshra Katto έχει κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Ασουάν. Η τοποθεσία ήταν η καλύτερη που θα μπορούσαμε να είχαμε. Επίσης ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν πολύ αξιοπρεπής και δεν προσπάθησε να μας με σιτεύσει τίποτα, μάλιστα μας έκανε δώρο ένα πρωινό.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It sits high above Lake Nasser with beautiful panoramic views, and it’s only a two-minute ride to the Abu Simbel Temple entrance. The hotel even provides free golf buggies, which made visiting the temples so easy and relaxed. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely looked after. Our room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly decorated ( we also got a free upgrade). The bed was extremely comfortable, and small touches like toweling robes, complimentary drinking water, and a turn-down service made it feel really special. Everything looked brand new. The covered seating area outside our room was a lovely place to sit and read while looking out over the lake, and at night we also sat out there viewing the night sky ( great place for star gazing). The infinity pool was another highlight – the perfect place to cool off and take in the incredible views across the lake. The restaurant chef came out to meet us personally and cooked a delicious evening meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. For breakfast, we ordered fresh omelettes, which went perfectly with the selection of pastries, breads, yogurt, honey, and coffee. Staying overnight rather than doing a day trip was by far the best decision we made. It gave us the chance to enjoy the temples peacefully after the day visitors had gone and to return at sunrise, which was an unforgettable experience

Even though we arrived late at night, we were welcomed with open arms. Mustafa and his family are truly wonderful; kind, warm, and incredibly hospitable. From the very first moment, we felt at home, embraced by their generosity and kindness. Leaving was heartbreaking; we wished we could have stayed much longer. This place and these people will always have a special place in our hearts. We truly hope to return one day and experience their warmth all over again!

The outside was very ugly but the inside was very modern. I loved the TV and the wi-fi was AMAZING😁 plenty of space and beds. The view is amazing! Dislike: the owner can improve the cleaning.

My experience at Basma Hotel Aswan has been incredible, thanks to the receptionists Mariam and Maria. Their exceptional service and dedication have made my stay truly outstanding. They have assisted me with everything, ensuring that I did not have to worry about anything. Their professionalism and kindness have significantly enhanced my experience, and I am truly grateful for their support. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for the outstanding hospitality provided by the staff

Το Sama Guest House είναι σε Αμπού Σίμπελ, σε απόσταση 1,4 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ναοί Abu Simbel και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge... The owner was absolutely adorable, and he took us across the lake to eat fresh fish cooked on the fire with his funny friends. We had an amazing time in Abu Simbel thanks to them. The hotel was also nice and very close to the temples (10min by foot).
