Set in the historic centre of Volterra, Hotel La Locanda offers classic rooms with free Wi-Fi. The Roman Theatre and Porta Fiorentina Gate are a short walk away. Great location, great services, very good breakfast, very kind people, very nice room/hotel. They informed us that the hotel is in the old town, therefore they do not have private parking. However, they send us all details related to the parking places near the location (there is free parking near the hotel, but you have to take into account that you have to climb about 100 stairs to the hotel.).

I arrived by bicycle into the beautiful nature reserve and I was welcomed so warmly by the wonderful couple running it. The room was perfect, dinner was delicious and the whole experience was just amazing. Highly recommended to give this little place a visit and to try their local cheeses, homemade liqueurs and olive oil.
