The hotel located along the Oito Line that was accessible by car or taxi from Shinano-Matsukawa, Kita-Hosono or Hosono station. We had multiple email and message communications with the owners. Atsu responded to reassure that our commute concern would be solved. He would pick us up and drop off at Hosono station. The price of the hotel was very affordable and could walk to train station if having no luggage. Atsu was very accommodating to our trip plan change. He was thoughtful to drop us to the Shinano-Matsukawa station that the waiting area was warmer & was in town. Guest rooms were on the 2nd floor of a Curry Restaurant. Atsu helped carrying the suitcase up to the room & brought us furniture that we needed. He was also the chef of the restaurant. The food was yummy. We highly recommended this

Shiroganeya is a traditional Japanese minshuku. Our host Maki-san was truly exceptional. She made sure our family of 6 were well-fed, well-rested, and well-prepared for our little hike to the main Togakushi shrine, which is a 7-min drive away. The dinner prepared for us was superb as well - at least 7-courses! I liked that the house itself has a lot of history. Dinner is served with precious chinaware that are more than a century-old, but still in very good shape and colour. There is adequate heating throughout the house, especially important for a cold winter stay. Maki-san also had a stash of toy cars and trains that kept our boy occupied. There’s just so much to rave about this place. Hopefully we’ll be back for a second visit!

Truly one of the highlights of our time in Japan. The building, rooms, and onsen are incredible and the hospitality can't be beat. We were caught in a rainstorm before our scheduled pickup and the owners so kindly dried our sopping wet clothes and shoes. After that, we warmed up in the onsen which left our skin feeling so smooth and headed to a delicious and expansive dinner. We finished the night falling asleep to the roaring sound of the waterfall due to the heavy rains. We'll definitely be back.

Το Tsutaya Tokinoyado Kazari διαθέτει δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Kiso. Great view and position on a picturesque place. The onsen was very, very nice, staff are kind. Breakfast and lunch are top quality set menus, with top presentation - well worth adding them, especially given that there isn't anything around walking distance. Great 5 star experience for a relaxing day in nature.

Το Hakuba Echo Hotel and Apartments βρίσκεται σε κεντρική τοποθεσία στην περιοχή Echo Land και προσφέρει άνετα δωμάτια με θέα στο βουνό. Hakuba Matata is an awesome lodge! The rooms are cozy but that's the Japanese style. The common room is super inviting and a great space to hangout and relax. The lodge was super clean, quiet, and has an awesome breakfast! There are two super close bus stops for all the ski resort shuttles and the main food strip is a relatively short walk away. Would definitely come back and stay for our next ski trip!

Το B&B Hotel Hyochoan άνοιξε τον Αύγουστο του 2012 και προσφέρει απλά καταλύματα δυτικού στιλ. Everything! The hosts exceeded our expectations in many aspects, their hospitality was more than impeccable. The room was modern and fresh with very comfortable beds. Bathroom had a bathtub and there was Apple TV in the room. And of course full Japanese breakfast with more dishes you could count - absolutely an experience in itself! It was one of the best lodging experiences I have ever had and I don't say this lightly.

Probably our best ever hotel experience, right from check in where you’re greeted with coffee and sweet treats, all the way to the dinner which was exceptional! The private onsen in the balcony with views of the mountains was a highlight.

Hakuba Tokyu Hotel is an 8-minute drive from JR Hakuba Station and a 3-minute drive from Happo-One Bus Terminal. A free 2-way shuttle to both destinations is provided upon prior reservation. The property is well located, clean, equipped with a beautiful onsen, interesting restaurant with traditional Japanese style cuisine and wonderful views of the mountains. However, above all else, the Tokyo has an amazing staff. All we’re kind, welcoming and helpful. In particular, the younger gentleman working the ski rental facility was able to answer all of our questions and ensured we had what we needed for a great day on the slopes at Happo One. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

A truly wonderful experience start to finish. We booked the twin room with private external bathroom (i.e an outdoor relaxation area with a hot tub fed from the hot spring water). When you walk into the room you feel instantly relaxed. Supreme luxury and comfort. Our breakfast and dinner were included, and it was absolute fine dining, some of the best food we have ever eaten (served up in our own private dining room!) The service was second to none, we felt absolutely spoiled every minute of our stay. An unforgettable experience.
