The luxurious Dusit Thani Maldives offers 94 Villas and Residences, located in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ first and only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Dusit Thani was a real treat, and was the perfect tonic after an intense 12 months of work. Snorkelling at the UNESCO biosphere reserve was a true highlight. Shout out to the staff who were all wonderful, especially the footballers at the market. Great to see the organised soccer matches for staff at nightfall - makes you think that staff are well looked after which contributes positively to the overall experience. It was also nice to see John the General Manager getting around the tables at dinner time to speak to the residents - it was a nice personal touch. Accommodation, food, the amenities - all amazing, and cycling around the island turned out to be a whole lot of fun. We will return!

Located in Kudarikilu, Nihaali Maldives offers beachfront accommodation 100 metres from Four Seasons Voavah Beach and offers various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. It’s a very peaceful island, the property is clean, staff Ali is very helpful and friendly. You go here if you want to take a break from the rest of the world. Theres not much to do unless you do the excursions on offer. I didn’t mind this and you get used to not doing much. There are two places you can buy a meal, the locals are friendly. I went in low season and was the only tourist there. Wifi is great at the property.

Vakkaru Maldives is a lush tropical habitat located within the crystal clear waters of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll. Our butler Adu and the rest of the hotel staff were so welcoming, they did such a great job of making our stay extra special. Our villa was super comfortable and we had the most incredible sunset view from the terrace. We chose this resort in great part due to the dining options available, and the restaurants did not disappoint! We particularly loved Vakku and Onu. We enjoyed a very relaxing couples massage at the spa, but the really highlight were all of the activities, especially turtle snorkeling and snorkeling around the house reef.

Boasting city views, Biosphere Inn offers accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 400 metres from Dharavandhoo Beach. The hospitality at the Biosphere Inn was exceptional, Hamdhan and his team are friendly and knowledgeable. They organised extras for us that went over and above what i expected! breakfast was lovely and the Dhal served in the evening was delicious. i will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place for solo travellers. Service was excellent, Mohamed is a very generous and great man. The beaches on the island and surrounding islands are stunning. Maldivian culture was great to experience. Excellent all round.
