That's a great place down the mountain in old city of Al Hamra, very well refurbished and maintained by it's owner who rebuilt his former family house into an cozy and beautiful hotel with amazing views from the roof terrace. It's a good starting point to visit Misfat Al Abriyeen if you have car. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast, and coffee with dates were available in every corner of hotel 24/7. Owner's hospitality was at highest level in best Omani traditions. Room was clean and tidy, our room had 2 bedrooms so that kids could comfortably sleep in their own beds. Location is very quiet and at night we enjoyed natural silence.

Great receptionist, large apartment with comfy beds, washing machine was a big plus as we got dirty clothes after our walks.

IntercityHotel Nizwa has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a terrace and restaurant in Nizwa. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a business centre and free WiFi. This hotel deserves better reviews. Staff is 10/10 especially Ali (I forget his full name) from Morocco. EXTREMELY kind, polite, professional and ready to serve whatever we needed. Food was FANTASTIC! Legitimately the best food we had in all of Oman which was shocking. All you can eat buffet at dinner for I forget how much but so worth it. Could never get something like this in the US. Rooms were good and clean. Pool and gym were nice because nobody was there. We even went for a Thai massage in the massage room at the top. Very professional and they did a great job. Also about a 10-15 minute drive from the Nizwa Souq which is great. Not right in the heart of Nizwa, a bit further out but very nice and peaceful. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s clean, comfortable, and well located. The staff were nice and always helpful. I even got a free upgrade on arrival, which was such a nice surprise!

Very clean, big rooms, modern bilding near the old houses and museum (by feet 15min), a lot places to eat and some supermarket on the same street. There the palm trees and aflaj near so it's a good place just to walk around.
