The Wood Hotel by Elite, que tiene restaurante, bar y vistas a la ciudad, está en Skellefteå, a 11 min a pie de Teatro Västerbotten. Usually I am not found of big hotels and prefer smaller family run businesses. But this one is absolutely amazing if you are interested in architecture. The whole structure is in wood, and this is well visible from both inside and outside. Everything was top: comfortable, quiet, a very good restaurant in 4th floor.On top of this, the breakfast was truly unbelievable. Swedish breakfast in hotel are usually very good but this one topped absolutely everything I have seen before in variety and quality of locally sourced, homemade dishes.

Este hotel se encuentra junto al río Umeälven, en el centro de Umeå, a 800 metros de la estación central de Umeå. It exceed my expectations,, I didn't realise my stay include free use of a sauna and a gym of which I was next door to. Very friendly staff, great breakfast. Extremely clean and cheap, only 45 euros a night. It was great value. I would definately stay again. I love how warm and almost family like the staff treated me.

We have planned long awaited Northern Lights trip at Kiruna as this year there are lots of activities on sun and have greater chances and views of Northern lights. We have decided to do road trip from Södertälje to Kiruna but as the distance is approximately 1300 kms which would requires 15 to 16 hours and we decided to have break journey with nice overnight stay in hotel and then I found this. Great hotel just off the E4 but was surprisingly quiet given its beside a very busy road. It has ample parking spaces. We had a warm welcome by Kristofer the owner. Check in was quick and simple by girl at the reception. Kristofer is very very helpful in showing our room, the free of charge coffee and tea machines and the water stations etc. The family room itself was very good. Breakfast was nice and mostly fresh. Breakfast was very typical Swedish which I was hoping for, The buffet style gave a choice of something light, something warm and something in-between. The room service was fantastic too! The Locations was perfectly situated with a 2 minute walk to the Centre of town but still extremely quiet. Great way to fell part of the City without the interruptions and easy to get transport to and from.
