The view to wake up to is just magical. In general, Aswan can get quite busy and hectic, it’s a bigger city. But if you’re staying here you will experience the serene magical river island vibe the place has, completely peaceful. And you simply take a short also beautiful ride on a boat to dive into wherever you want in Aswan - downtown or the close temples of Philae & co. The absolut best though is the owner and his wife, Sherif and May. You really see how much this place matters to them when they receive you and explain you every detail about how the place was built according to Nubian authenticity (while still proving a high level of comfort) and they give you THE BEST TIPS for a local experience in not only Aswan but all over Egypt. I told him his travel book would be a bestseller if he ever wrote one! He will also help you arrange everything. Also really enjoyed the early evening music with dance on the days we were there that the guests would join and get to know each other if they wanted to.

A lovely setting on the quiet side of Elephantine Island, air con worked well, breakfast on the covered patio was filling and tasty, Hamada and Moustafa were so helpful, picked us up by boat when we arrived in Aswan and organized a driver for Philae Temple and Abu Simbel.

El hotel en general es muy bonito, muy acorde al vibe del lugar, está muy limpio y la comida es deliciosa. Sin embargo, lo que más resalto es el trato del personal, son increíbles! Nos ayudaron a programar todo, desde los tours hasta los transportes de tuktuk de salida y entrada, todos tienen la mejor disposición y actitud para ayudar. Buenísima experiencia!

New Abu Simbel Tourist Hotel está en Abu Simbel, a 2,3 km de Templos de Abu Simbel, y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante y parking privado gratis.
