El Residence Porto Ulisse se encuentra en la costa oeste de Calabria, rodeado de jardines tropicales. The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

Boutique Suites - Palazzo Rodotà 1683 se encuentra en Cosenza, en la región de Calabria, cerca de Cosenza Cathedral y Rendano Theatre. We loved the striking contrast between the ancient doorway leading to a traditional courtyard and then the super modern, top quality interior. The host, Luca, was so kind and helpful. He greeted us warmly, helped with parking and reserved a great restaurant for dinner. The location was ideal, close to the wonderful old town. It really was a special place to stay

Leonardo Suites Scilla se encuentra en Scilla, a 22 km de Archaeological Museum - Riace Bronzes y a 23 km de Castillo Aragonés. Se ofrece parking privado por un suplemento. El lugar es céntrico, el apartamento es muy cómodo y Myriana muy simpática, se esforzó por entender el español y darnos todas las indicaciones e información para conocer Scillia!!! Con refri y amenites básicos. Desayuno en un café cercano. Recomendable.

Xenion Guest House está en Villa San Giovanni, a 1,9 km de Lido Le Tartarughe, y dispone de jardín, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y salón de uso común. If you are passing through Villa San Giovanni either going to or from Sicily, you should not even think of staying anywhere else but here! Honestly. Filly, the owner, is extremely friendly, and my room was so immaculately clean and neat and modern and comfortable. And the huge kitchen/sitting room is incredibly well equipped. Xenion is very close to the ferry dock. Great lighting, extremely comfortable bed, fast wifi, roller shutters on all the windows, nice air conditioning. I can’t recommend any place more than this one, and I stay at so many Booking.com places all over the world, especially in Europe.
