This was our second visit to Mailagama Cinnamon Residence and we were truly happy to see again the owners of the hotel, Indira and her husband. The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

Tranquil Wild tiene vistas a la piscina y se encuentra en Tanamalwila. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, cafetería, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. All we needed was just relax and take same rest in the quiet place after long way on motorbike and we received exactly this. Staff was very nice, professional, and the food was good. There is a swimming pool and beautiful garden where you can see a lot of animals. Room is also very well equipped.

El Jetwing Kaduruketha - Level 1 Certified se inspira en una localidad tradicional y ofrece un lujoso complejo ecoagrícola. Es un hotel eco-friendly en medio de campos de arroz con unas vistas maravillosas. La piscina es excelente. El personal es encantador. Nos ha encantado. Los baños son sacados de un cuento de fantasia, están en el exterior. Los pequeños detalles como el anti-mosquitos natural son excelentes ( y muy eficaces). Definitivamente una estancia memorable.

Sam's Stay Buduruwagala se encuentra en Wellawaya, a 39 km de Puente de los Nueve Arcos, Demodara, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. They were very helpful and provided us with information and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would recommend and we will be booking again soon. Thank you Sam!

Exquisite stay with excellent service. They really give attention to details with compliments to the manager Lucky. The overall feel of the villa is luxury. The online photos already look amazing, but in real life it is even better with a majestic entrance and beautiful lights. They serve great food, I especially loved the authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. They even accommodated our driver. The private villa is beautiful with comfortable beds (on second floor), modern bathroom with natural roof light and a cozy living room. We even had the luxury of a private pool, but otherwise there is a lovely common pool. Overall best stay so far in Sri Lanka with excellent service!!

VR Nature Cottage CABANA se encuentra en Wellawaya y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, servicio de habitaciones y recepción 24 horas. This was the best hospitality we received in Sri Lanka. It is a lovely family business, located in nature and very close to the famous Budurugawala rock carvings. Shalika and his family are perfect hosts. The cabin is great and the environment is very peaceful. The beds were really comfortable and super clean. The food they served is amazing and they the ingredients are harvested by the hosts. It was an amazing experience. They also provide transportation service. Highly recommended!
