The people make the difference. Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. Mårtenlien Ski in Ski Out VM8 se encuentra en Åre, en la región de Jämtland, cerca de Åre Train Station y Åre Torg. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, parking privado gratis y acceso a la sauna. The view was awesome and we could enjoy it fully while eating on the balcony. The location directly by the VM8 lift was a convenient starting point for all adventures, big and small. The facilities had all that we could ask for, from kids toys to a drying cabinet, and we could walk to Grädda bakery for fresh bread every morning.

Trillevallens Högfjällshotell & Lägenheter se encuentra en Trillevallen, a 22 km de Åre Train Station, y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. It’s a beautiful old building with lots of tradition. Modernized in the gentlest and most fitting way. Högfâllshotellet is a gem. The staff is kind and helpful, the food is delicious and the views are one of a kind. We loved the Sauna and the proximity to the slopes.

Absolutely loved staying here and could have easily stayed longer if we could have. We had such a lovely welcome with a package of cinnamon buns waiting for us which were amazing. The apartment was really clean, beautifully furnished with everything anyone would need and there was a lot of space for 4 of us! Breakfast included was at the bakery along the road which had a brilliant selection. I wish I could rate our stay higher than 10 😁

Bagargården7. Bed & breakfast (Åre Bageri), que tiene vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 13 min a pie de Åre Train Station. Above expectation. On arrival we were greeted by the host, who helped us access the property and left us with some freshly made cinnamon pastries and biscuits, which were gorgeous! The photos of the apartment do not do this property justice. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, well equipped (dishwasher/washer/dryer/coffee machine/induction hob/storeage-area for skis snowboards etc.) all the homely comforts you require. Definitely a home from home! Freshly ground coffee & filters, soap and shampoo, washing powder, condiments all provided. Breakfast was fantastic and included in the price. The buffet breakfast was served everyday from 7am until 10.30am. There was a vast selection of items to choose from. All the breads and pastries were home made and freshly baked daily on site, absolutely delicious (we would come back just for them!).
