The end of the world is well worth a visit.
The end of the world is well worth a visit. If you don't plan to go skiing, 3-4 days are enough to see the main spots. I wouldn't recommend a longer stay as there is not that much to see. Great restaurants available, I would definitely recommend Paso Garibaldi, amazing dinner there. You need to do a boat tour of Beagle canal, seeing the Sea lions, penguins, birds, Faro Les Eclaireurs, it's a must. Nice hike up to Glaciar Martial. The Train of the end of the world and the National Park are great adventures. Overall, a great trip I would recommend, but I preferred other spots in Patagonia, especially Bariloche.Guest review byFrankLuxembourg - 10.0

We went in the winter, so days are shorter (sunrise closer to 9am) and dark by 5:30. There is a lot to see and do, and very worth while and unlesse you are planning to ski, 3 days is enough. Keep in mind that tours (in the winter) have pick-ups around 8am, so bookings must be made in advance or the day before (once you arrive). We waited to book to see weather conditions. Would have liked to explore the town centre more. Also couple of trips from Ushuaia - to lakes, the glacier and a boat trip to the lighthouse. Probably four to five days. Maria Lola was great for dinner. Ramos General's El Almacen is worth a visit.Guest review byC1defenceUnited States
