We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Brussels! It’s perfectly located—close to the airport, yet quiet and peaceful. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and understaffing, with malfunctioning air conditioning and privacy breaches. Its inconvenient location led to frequent transportation issues, and unhelpful staff showed little concern despite complaints. Overall, the experience was far from comfortable or restful, and we do not recommend this hotel.

Costs in the region can be high, and the available dining options are not particularly noteworthy. Vilvoorde is a beautiful city. I love to go for walks and just about walked everywhere. There are many parks, rivers, creeks, a canal, and many paths to walk on. Vilvoorde has done a magnificent job at keeping the area very green and walkable.

Getting around in Wezembeek-Oppem is very easy. We mostly walked there. We used tram and metro to neighboring towns. We ate at different places depending on where we were.
People are very kind and smiling. They congratulate you, even if they don't know you.

I stayed on business for one night so it is not fair to compare, but host, property and facilities where excellent and I would stay there before staying at a hotel whilst on business. If I was on holiday in the area, it would be a great base with everything you need, I would not hesitate to book.

Lovely town, the abbey is GORGEOUS!
Lovely town, the abbey is GORGEOUS! So many great, relaxing places to stroll. We walked around the Prinsenbos and met a man named Didier Francois (a musician) who very kindly talked to us about the 'lost wax' casting class he was teaching.
Highly recommend eating at Fenikshof, and definitely sampling the beers from the Abbey

It is what it is - out in the middle of nearly nowhere. Just a base to get your head down, 30 minute taxi into Brussels city centre. Wasn't overly impressed with Brussles to be honest. Long ques at immigration being that we left the EU. The flight was an hour and it took 1 hr 15 minutes to clear customs.

Was there to visit a clinic so didn’t get to see much, but first impression was there was not much there.. struggled to find anything to do and also not many restaurants or cafes where you can get breakfast.
I did like the cleanliness and the calmness.. houses there are all great and modern to look at and it was relatively easy to get around

Unfortunately I didnt go to the trip had an accident and broken foot. My friends did travel. I had to pay 140 euros because the booking didnt cancel my reservation. Very upset about this. The hotel should have mean to avoid this to happen.

We especially enjoyed the local brewery, even though none of the staff there explained to us (and didn't even know!!!) our most popular batch of Grimbergen beer, namely "blanche", which is not produced in the brewery at all, so it is a mystery to me where it is bottled and why it is not sold at all in Belgium, unlike, for example, Switzerland or Italy.
