Location and Transport
Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is located just over 12 miles (20 kilometres) , from downtown Montréal. VIA Rail Canada operates inter-city connections along the Ottawa-Montréal, Toronto-Kingston-Montréal and Québec City-Montréal lines, and a journey to the city takes about 30 minutes. The 747 bus runs 24/7 between Montréal-Trudeau Airport and downtown Montréal, with journeys taking between 45 and 70 minutes depending on traffic.

Got an early flight to catch? There's a hotel located inside the terminal, but several other hotels can be found nearby, with most offering free shuttle services. The airport terminal features a permanent art collection, with various paintings and even an integrated light installation. Avid planespotters should head to Jacques-de-Lesseps Park, offering one of the best vantage points for observing the runways.
Terminal Information
The airport has one two-storied terminal which is divided into four zones: the public area (departures and arrivals level), the domestic jetty, the international jetty and the transborder jetty. Catching a connecting flight at the airport may require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport or visa may be necessary.
