We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The spacy accommodation was equipped with everything we needed – from practical kitchen tools to all the facilities that made us feel right at home. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into ensuring guests have a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The location was ideal – peaceful and quiet, yet still very close to a lovely park and other local amenities. It truly offered the best of both worlds: tranquility and convenience. Public transport was right around the corner, and while we had a bit of bad luck with nearby tram station construction during our visit, under normal circumstances it would have been incredibly easy to get around. The hosting family was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. You could ask them anything, and they were always ready to assist with a smile. Many thanks for letting us stay! We would definitely recommend it. 😊

The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic — in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of places to eat, supermarkets, and bakeries for a delicious breakfast, plus easy access to the city entrance. The reception staff were incredibly polite and genuinely friendly. We had an amazing time and truly hope to come back again!

Was traveling with a friend and it was very convenient that we were able to get to this room at 0100 in the morning and be able to get they key very easily and get straight to bed after a long day. The room was great, and the location was awesome, only a 15 to 20 minute walk to everything in the heart of Freiburg.

Penthouse-Appartements am Güterbahnhof is situated in the Herdern district of Freiburg im Breisgau, 2.1 km from the old town. Colmar is 37 km from the property. Peaceful modern side of town. The place was warm, very clean, with a decently stocked kitchen, and well connected to the city center with just one tram line. The internet worked well, which was a big plus. The only inconvenient part was having to walk through a section of forest to get to the station, though it was well lit and safe. The host wasn’t the most responsive, but overall it was a good stay.
