Location and Transport
Located 11 miles (17 kilometres) from central Helsinki in the city of Vantaa, Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is the main international gateway to Finland and the busiest airport in the country. There are two direct train connections from Helsinki Airport to the city centre, I-train and P-train, departing every 10 minutes. You can also take the 615 bus or the Finnair City Bus to Helsinki Railway Station, running every 30 minutes.

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport has two terminals linked by a walkway. The airside parts of the terminal buildings are not divided into Terminal 1 (the former domestic terminal) and Terminal 2 (the former international terminal) but into Schengen and non-Schengen areas.
