Location and Transport
Situated in the village of Rhoose, Cardiff Airport is 12 miles (19 kilometres) from Cardiff city centre. The easiest way to reach the city is by train, with a rail link connecting the airport to Cardiff Central station. Trains run every hour from Monday to Saturday and every two hours on Sundays. The journey into Cardiff takes around 40 minutes and you’ll also need to catch a shuttle bus between the terminal and the airport train station. The T9 airport express bus service departs every 20 minutes, with a journey time of around 30 minutes.

Two hotels are located next to the airport and both provide a shuttle service. Airport facilities include an executive lounge, bars and restaurants, and 30 minutes of free WiFi per day.
