The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking our own meals. There was a generous basket with breakfast items, chips, cookies and milk, juice and cheese in the frig. The bathroom was large and well appointed for seniors/handicapped (although we didn't need this). The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable (if you like a semi-firm). The windows open for fresh air at night. There was plenty of room to hang/put away clothes. There were books and publications with regional information. We had a wonderful stay!

The hot tub was fantastic after exploring outdoors on the colder, windier days. A short drive to Kirkwall township in a quiet setting. Highly recommended!

The bath was super clean and comfortable. I Ioved that I had a bathrobe in my room. I slept very well in the bed. Walking into Kirkwall city centre took me about 15 minutes and was a nice walk through a good neighbourhood.

Best of all, the hosts took time in helping us choose which areas and attractions in Orkney to visit. As a result we had the most wonderful time with our sightseeing, and really enjoyed our holiday in the Orkneys.
