Being very close to the border with Turkey, there is, unfortunately, TOO MUCH heavy truck traffic on the only highway along the beach. Be CAREFUL (walking) crossing the road to the beach! There are PLENTY of authentic Georgian restaurants serving great salads and cold beer!)))

I was just 2 days and half there and the weather in these days was super nice and was not warm at all. It was so beautiful and I really enjoyed to be there and was unforgettable for me. The beach was beautiful and I could relax for these days. I definitely will come back to this city soon

3 days are more more more then enough. The sea ( with different water activities) , botanical garden (with a zip line ) , different infrastructure of hotels 😂, few cable cars. That’s all about batumi .

Nice beach and mountains with plenty of rooms available after summer. Many restaurants. It's kin of a party city so between the music and construction, it often noisy. Booking FREE CANCELLATION is no longer working and when canceling a reservation "Error sending your request, please try again later." the hotels here have fake reviews, so don't trust the ratings too much.
