Location and Transport
Set 11 miles (17 kilometres) from the city, Tbilisi International Airport is a 25-minute drive from the centre of town. A taxi will cost GEL 20–30, while the 24-hour 37 bus takes a little longer and connects travellers to the city centre. A train to Tbilisi Central Station departs from the airport twice a day at 08:45 and 18:45, taking about 20 minutes.

If you get stranded after a delay, or you’ve got a scheduled layover, there are hotels with shuttle services located within 3 miles (5 kilometres) of the airport. Inside the terminal, there are gift shops, as well as a couple of bars and cafés.
