Corfu International Airport (also known as Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport) is located just over a mile (2 kilometres) from the town centre. A ten-minute taxi ride is the easiest way to reach Corfu town, and drivers will be waiting right outside the terminal building.

Airport facilities include duty-free shops, bars and restaurants, and free WiFi. Most flights will approach from the south, where passengers will be able to enjoy a beautiful panorama of Mouse Island (Pontikonissi), the Vlacherena monastery and the hills of Kanoni.
