Novotel Citygate features spacious accommodation a short walk from Tung Chung MTR and Ngong Ping 360. The 4-star hotel offers free shuttle services to Hong Kong International Airport. Location was ideal for being near the. airport (10 min) and adjacent to Citygate Mall. Ideal for getting away from the crowds downtown. Lots of choices for shopping, dining and entertainment. Room layout was interesting but only for couples because of the open bathroom. Free airport transfer was so convenient.

Το City Oasis Guesthouse βρίσκεται σε ένα μικρό χωριό στα προάστια του Tung Chung στο νησί Lantau. Παρέχεται δωρεάν Wi-Fi σε όλους τους χώρους. The house was in a beautiful natural location. It was about 10 minute walk down a cement path to a village with no cars. The guesthouse was truly an oasis, surrounded by greenery and birds. Both the balcony of my room and the rooftop area gave wonderful views of the surrounding beauty. Terry kept the place impeccably clean and orderly. There was a well equipped kitchen that I used to make breakfast and sometimes a small dinner. Terry was super helpful, providing ideas of places to go and how to get there. His maps of the area and the public transportation were welcome for a solo traveler trying to get around Lantau Island. It was a perfect base to explore the area. I hiked on the trail from the guest house, which was wonderful. And took public transportation to see the big Buddha and the fishing villages. There are some restaurants and a grocery store in the housing complex near the trail to the guesthouse so everything was in walking distance.
