Florence Airport (also known as ‘Toscana Firenze Airport’) is set on the outskirts of Florence, just over 2 miles (4 kilometres) from the historic centre. The swiftest connection between the city and airport is by the ‘Vola in Bus’ service, which departs every 30 minutes between 05:30 and 00:30. A little bit faster, a taxi will cost around EUR 25.
