Location and Transport
Naples International Airport is located 3 miles (5 kilometres) northeast of central Naples, in the Capodichino district of the city. It is easily reached either by bus or taxi. The Naples Alibus shuttles between the airport, the city centre and central train station, departing every 20-30 minutes. A taxi will cost EUR 40 and take about 15 minutes.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There is a special ‘capsule’ hotel – the first-ever to open in Italy – inside the airport, and several other hotels within 5 kilometres, in case you need to stay the night before a connecting flight. A free shuttle service is provided by some hotels. Naples Airport (known as ‘Aeropuerto Napoli’ in Italy) offers a range of useful passenger services, including free WiFi, currency exchange, luggage protection, travel agencies and prayer rooms.
