About 7 min away from the airport, amazing if you have an early flight or you are arriving late in the night. The host was great, texted the instructions with pictures and provided soft drinks and snacks. The place also has socket adapter if needed.
Set within 2.7 km of Spiaggia di Reggio di Calabria and 3.9 km of Aragonese Castle, Eleven Bed & Breakfast offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Reggio Calabria.

The host welcomed us at very late hour which was very nice, she showed us our room and explained everything. Room was squeaky clean, the facilities were new. Location is great, it took us less than 10 min to get there from the airport.
You can get some drinks there which was ideal because we arrived at 11pm so we didn’t have to wander around the city to look for bottle of water. The patio was beautiful, great view
We recommend it to everyone

We stayed our last night before our flight in this accommodation and our flight was early morning and we got breakfast in the package - that was really lovely for us. Communication with the owner was very easy and comfortable. :-)

An interesting, unique city with its own atmosphere.
An interesting, unique city with its own atmosphere. It boasts a large and comfortable promenade for strolling, offering stunning views of the strait and the volcano. It also boasts a long, intriguing pedestrian street with shops, historic architecture, and cultural attractions. The museums are fascinating and quite informative. I highly recommend visiting the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, Palazzo della Cultura "Pasquino Crupi," Museo Diocesano "Monsignor Aurelio Sorrentino," Pinacoteca, and the unique and wonderful Museo Nazionale del Bergamotto. It boasts many interesting streets, a spacious promenade, and a green and welcoming city. There are also numerous pleasant and comfortable establishments where you can sample delicious, authentic Calabrian cuisine.

I have stayed at this facility at least 5 times.
I have stayed at this facility at least 5 times. The location is perfect for me and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have always accommodated me with a room upgrade and diet restrictions. I go back because of this.
The only negative is I wish they would upgrade the beds. My body is getting old and I need a little more cush.
I love going across the street for a morning or evening walk on the beach. Restaurants are within walking distance as well. The price is very reasonable.

Great location to visit with amazing views over the city and water. I went both up the hill/mountain to an old fort and to the Faro Torre beach which was amazing. The food was great. The city was a lot of hills if you don`t mind the light cardio you are good.

What a beautiful town with some lovely restaurants and the Main Street closed to traffic was a bonus. Some fabulous shops to browse through and the beach walk was lovely. A must see is the bronze statues at the museum - the whole museum was fabulous

Gallico Marina is a great location to stay in.
Gallico Marina is a great location to stay in. It offers a good beach, with a marvelous view of Medina, and most Hostels are quite affordable, which makes it an attractive option for those wishing to spend their time in other places such as Scilla, where prices are usually much higher.

For the city itself, I had one night there and most of one day, For craft beer lovers, Beer Bang is a great place to go for choice of beer, friendly staff and atmosphere. Daytime, I saw a lot of the city but there were a couple of places that I didn't have time to visit. If I'd been there longer I would also have travelled up and down the coastline a bit more, it appears to be attractive. Ferry port/station easy to find/navigate from.

Awful place, the buildings and streets were neglected and in need of repair, there was rubbish everywhere. Few places found to eat. There was nowhere pleasant to walk and nothing of interest to visit. It was difficult to see beyond the dirt, rubbish, filth and disrepair.

Messina has a reputation for being a 'just passing through' transit town. We stopped for just one night en-route to the north coast. The atmosphere and 'feel' of the city was easy-going and pleasant - in retrospect, we could easily have spent another night or two exploring and sight-seeing.
