The rooms were super nicely decorated and modern, and the bed was really comfy. It was also great to have water and coffee/tea available in the room. There’s an awesome local seafood restaurant right next to the hotel – amazing service, tasty food, and a really nice wine selection. The location is super convenient too. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the airport, and there’s a bus stop and train station nearby, so it’s easy to get to Trieste city center. Big thanks to Monica for being such a lovely and helpful host! Would definitely stay again!

El Hotel Major está a solo 3 km del aeropuerto de Trieste Ronchi Dei Legionari. Todas las habitaciones y suites cuentan con aire acondicionado y WiFi gratuita. Hay aparcamiento gratuito. This hotel is super convenient if you have an early flight out of Trieste or a very late arrival. The hotel staff was very kind, efficient and friendly. Parking is right next to the hotel and free! When we arrived exhausted from a busy sightseeing day in Trieste, we were able to have a delicious and reasonably priced dinner in the hotel dining room. Plus, football/soccer on the TV while we ate. :). We were very well cared for by the hotel team - as if we were guests in their own homes. The hotel room was very clean with the no frills, basics of what we needed for a good night's rest. We did not need an advanced degree to figure out the lights in the room or the air conditioning- which we appreciated. If we fly in or out of the Trieste airport again, we would definitely stay here.
