Location and Transport
Guadalajara Airport is located in Jalisco, just over 13 miles (22 kilometres) from the city centre. A taxi is the most convenient way to reach Guadalajara, but will cost you at least MXN 200. Buses depart from the back of Terminal Terrestre (the ground transportation terminal), which is a ten-minute walk from Terminal 1 and a 15-minute walk from Terminal 2. The fastest option is the express route bus (it has ‘Chapala’ written on the sides) and the cheapest option is the city route bus (with ‘El Centro’ on the front windshield).

The closest hotel is connected to the terminal via a bridge. Alternative hotel options can be found within 4 miles (6 kilometres) of the airport. Terminal facilities include a VIP lounge and car rental points.
