My family and I are really satisfied with the homestay because it was spacious, really clean and well equipped. The owner was really friendly and helpful. The house manager was very responsive to queries. Checking in was easy and convenient too. Place was well maintained, kept clean and tidy. Huge car porch which can fit at least 5 cars. Location was very near the airport, and within driving range to marts, restaurants and malls. Area was quiet and peaceful.

I never miss going to Wan Mee Kari ( Mee kari Kak Yah).
I never miss going to Wan Mee Kari ( Mee kari Kak Yah). I also love to go to the pasar tani@ Silibin where you can get Patin and Baung and other 'kampung' produce and traditional kuehs too. Concubine Lane is interesting too. Love the homemade ice-cream there and the assortment of nuts sold by a young entrepreneur. There are a few nasi kandar restaurants which are good but Penang's still the best.

We've been to Aeon Station 18 @Ipoh which takes 18 minutes away from the Dandelion Inn.
We've plan to continue our journey thru Lojing but unfortunately there's a landslide. So we've change our plan & heading Kuala Kangsar from Simpang Pulai.

The Chinese breakfast and dinner ... great and very affordable and the nite is simply blissful as it's an old-fashioned cowboy town. Nothing moves only every family comes out to eat at night. The Chinese food is great.

Lost World was kind of disappointing as we had Escape back...
Lost World was kind of disappointing as we had Escape back at Penang and compared to it Lost World is kinda for the kids and not able to bring any water in there was a big minus and once you gone into the park you are not able to get out cause you are not able to re-enter, food is also too expensive for a park not even Genting Skyworld is this expensive.
For better animal experience : Taiping Zoo
but still Tambun is quite better if you just explore locals .

The temples tour and white water rafting in Gopeng were a highlight. Make sure you download Grab as it's not so easy to get around without it. The bus station is a fair distance from the city, the train station is more centrally located. The night market was a bit of a disappointment. The historic town centre was more scenic but touristy, super busy at the weekend. The book vault was interesting and the iced white coffee is amazing.

Tambun was very calm town . Wonderful place to have fun with my partners . I went to Lost World of Tambun. There were so many activities available , and one opt for the spa for relaxation. The staff so friendly and helpful. One more thing , the food store inside a little bit pricy . The food was good but too pricy. I also go to Gua Kek Long Tong . The cave was very clean and very well kept , maintaining.

As a Malaysian, if you like to see what Ipoh was like in the earlier days, this is the place to go. The food is delicious and cheap.
However, if traveling in a group, and depending on which food stall to eat at, try asking for individual food and not shared food, as some food stalls tend to give less, like we experienced at this Hakka Noodle stall at the corner shop. Check your bill like we did, and we found out about the lady overcharging us. Try not to speak in English but in the local dialect, preferably Cantonese.
Spacious apartments. Clean. beautiful sceneries around.
However, the directions in google map was a bit off so we kept getting lost. a quick consult with the owner helped us navigate to the correct location.
