The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. Best feature was staying in the park and being just a few minutes walk from HQ and the cafe. We had some power issues on the second night and third day but it was dealt with expeditiously. We didn't use it but there is laundry service available.

The location of this homestay is the best part about it. It's a 2 minute walk from the park entrance while still giving you the feel of being outside of the park. They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.

The room and all the house are very clean. It's located just opposite the airport (but no worries there are just few flights during the day, so they don't bother at all). Food was also delicious. Great for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is usually served in the National Park, where you spend the day. Clean homestay with a spacious room with an ensuite bathroom.

Our hosts Dina and Robert made the stay memorable and personalised. They offered help including trips recommendations, meals preparation and transfer to the airport. It felt like being welcomed into their home and living with family. We even had a karaoke night! The place is kept clean and there is luggage storage. The home cook meals were made from homegrown vegetables too, they were delicious.

It feels more like being invited to someone’s home than actually staying in a Homestay. Robert and Dina really care about your stay and your well being. With them there is a solution for every problem. Very good value for money. I don‘t think there is a better place to stay in Mulu. Dina is also a great cook! I really advice to eat dinner at the Homestay.

To Helena Homestay βρίσκεται σε Mulu, σε Σαραουάκ και σε κοντινή απόσταση από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Εθνικό Πάρκο Gunung Mulu. Παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. This review is based on the situations in a remote place like Mulu. The stay was good. It's about 1-1.5 km from Mulu national park and airport, so it's in walkable location. The host Helena and Shania was supportive. The room had 3 single beds. Initially I thought it would be a dormitory type of stay. But they have multiple rooms. It is a budget homestay. They prepare dinner and lunch is you ask for. Prices are at par with Mulu park restaurant.

Το Mulu Diana Homestay παρέχει καταλύματα σε Mulu με θέα στο βουνό και προσφέρει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα. Diana is a wonderful host. The food was delicious. Rooms are spacious. Fan ceiling. Beds were comfortable. A 25 minute walk to the Mulu National Park or if a 5 minute ride. They are expanding so expect some construction during the day. Also this is not a luxury stay, but a modest homestay.

Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. Just exceptional! The staff were delightful, and although we're not really Christmas people, they went out of their way to make it a very memorable one. The location is idyllic and utterly relaxing, as was simply sitting with a glass of wine on an open terrace listening to the incredible soundtrack of the rain forest. Great information, support, and service to and from the National Park. It's a long way from where we call home, but how we would love to go again..

It is across the river from Marriott, and five minutes by car from the airport and the national park. They will drive you to the national park for a small fee (5 myr per person).
