Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. Very close to the airport for an early morning flight. But also a peaceful, quiet spot in the bush with the usual game to see. The dinner was both tasty and well-presented. We would have loved to stay and have breakfast, but since we were leaving the property at 6 am, we enjoyed a pleasant pre-packed breakfast instead.

We had a chalet bungalow to ourselves and our grown up children and a chalet bungalow to themselves with a seperate bedroom each and a living room between them.

We stayed in a Premier Villa and it was huge! Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!

Savanna Villas está en Windhoek, a 24 km de Alte Feste Museum y a 24 km de National Botanical Gardens Windhoek. I enjoyed being in the quiet and calmness of nature. I am also very impressed with the setup of the villa, it ensured 100% comfortability.
