The location was very idyllic and quiet, far off the main touristy places. Exactly what we wished for. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and the food was extremely good at a great price. We did a kayak tour from the house to the ocean, which took about 45mins one way, and did the Dugong diving tour on our second day, which was very well organized by the Dugong Diving Center, in exchange with Judith from the Riverhouse, since they know each other well. Great start into our holiday!

This was the best places we have stayed in the Philippines! Enna’s place was amazing, just a little bit outside of town away from the hustle and noise. Anne and Leo and their team were amazing hosts and made us feel very at home. They helped us organise tours and pick ups from and to the airport ( or port) and anything else we may of needed!
Each day we walked to town maybe about a 25-30min walk, pretty easy as its flat all the way.
The breakfast was super tasty and set us up
perfect for the day. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and cool!

Rooms are small but clean, aircon is loud but works good. Bed is comfortable. Scooter, tours and ferry booking can be organized there. Also the host Rose is super friendly and is always there for your needs and can answer all your questions. Would stay there again.

we loved warren! he was so interested in us and making sure we had the best stay possible. grace was also so sweet and made sure we felt welcome! we rented a paddle board and saw a dugong! nice snorkeling! we had a nice dinner at sandcastles and also went to cashew nut grove next door for food aswell. thank you for the great peaceful stay!

All employees are very friendly and ready to help. I had food poisoning due to the food I ate on our island hopping.
They set transfer to and from the hospital and give us assistance all throughout our stay. All staff are very accommodating.

If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping.
If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home.
Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February.
To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!

I dont know why everyone goes to crowded Coron island while huge wild beautiful Busuanga is near. Its very big island, better to rent a motorbike to discover it. A lot of things to do, islands, giraffes, diving, beaches.

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights.
You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful.
If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.

Island hoping are a must to do.
We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill.
Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.
