Location and Transport
Faro Airport is less than 3 miles (4 kilometres) from the centre of Faro. It’s the starting point for many trips around the Algarve coastline. The easiest way to reach Faro is by taxi, which will cost about EUR 15 and take around 15 minutes. Buses 14 and 16 take around 20 minutes and leave from the terminal hourly from around 07:00 until 17:00.

There are plenty of hotel options within 2 miles (3 kilometres) of Faro Airport with many offering shuttle services. Inside the terminal you’ll find shops and restaurants, free WiFi and the ‘Living Spot’, where you can charge devices and relax. There’s also a bike-assembly point.
