Location and Transport
Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is located 19 miles (30 kilometres) from central Goethenburg. The Flygbussarna bus runs from around 04:00 until 21:00, taking just 20 minutes to get to town. The Swebus Express stops in both Gothenburg and Stockholm (around 4.5 hours away) and runs every 2–3 hours. A taxi to the centre of town will cost around SEK 415.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
The nearest hotel is just 200 metres away and there are two more within a short shuttle drive of the terminal. Back in the airport, travellers can enjoy free WiFi, shops and dining options. The airport also offers the unusual feature of arranging marriage ceremonies in the VIP lounge, so betrothed couples can schedule in a ceremony just before a honeymoon-bound flight.
