I did not expect it to be a beautiful, clean, safe place to walk around even at night. Despite the language barrier, people are nice and accommodating trying to help you with direction. I noticed that the drivers are very patient and seldom use their horn and gives priority to pedestrian. Parks and trees are everywhere. Food and stay is affordable.

A beautiful, unique city that you must visit. Sincere people. Many beautiful public places lit up in the evenings. It is convenient to travel by taxi, because it is not expensive and according to the readings of the meter.

The city is clean, the taxi transport system is efficient and affordable. The City is deliberate on reducing the carbon foot print. Almost all taxis are EVs. The people are very hospitable despite the language barrier. Not many speak English.

All the monuments/sightseeings in Dushanbe, except for the new mosque and the Navruz Palace, are located within a distance of about 3 km, so they are easily accessible from each other through parks or the main Rudaki Avenue.
