Located 5 miles (8 kilometres) southeast of downtown Austin Texas, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is easily accessed by car or public transport. There’s a direct MetroBus connection, to downtown running every half hour, while the standard taxi fare is USD 12.30, which includes a USD 1 surcharge.

Travellers with scheduled stopovers or unexpected delays have a choice of several hotels located inside and close to the airport. Before takeoff, you can catch local musicians performing in different venues in the Barbara Jordan Terminal, from Monday to Friday. Terminal Information

Austin-Bergstrom Airport contains two terminals: the (larger) Barbara Jordan Terminal and South Terminal. The South Terminal has a separate entrance on the south side of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and is not accessible from the Barbara Jordan Terminal. There is no shuttle bus between terminals. Catching a connecting flight at Austin-Bergstrom will require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.
