The host was exceptional—super responsive, welcoming. The location was very good, and thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee and snacks were a delightful bonus! We upgraded to Oceanfront View room, so the view from the balcony was outstanding!!! I think any other room could "slightly" change our rating.

The condo is part of Kona Islander Inn complex, but this particular one is directly handeld by Chris and Heather, as I believe every condo may have different owners. The condo is very clean, smartly furnished so that there is quite a lot of free space but also a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and storage. A small balcony/terrace completes it. The Inn has a common laundry but we didn't use it. The location is literally in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Communication was good! Chris & Heather gave me all the info via the Booking messenger and they were always ready to answer: I asked for a late check out on the last day (2pm instead of 11am) with 2 days advance, and got answered quickly that was possible (extra fee required). We always found a free parking in the parking that serves the whole Inn, but I have the feeling it might become limiting in higher seasons. So overall we were really happy with this choice.
