The food was wonderful... the view from the balcony was amazing, the pool and the grounds were absolutely beautiful, poolside service was awesome, the staff were super helpful, the room was clean, the shower was deluxe, and the bed was just right... really really impressed with my vacation here, would highly recommend this hotel! I hated to go home...

Nice view. Updated floors and bathroom. Well stocked spices, oils and vinegar. Hot water for showers. Sliding door blinds are easy to use. Sheets were soft. Easy access to the beach.

The bed was super comfortable. Staff were lovely. AC worked perfect. Everything was clean and towels were changed after a few days which was great. Also, getting beach towels was brilliant. Free coffee and nice to has a fridge in the room too. Perfect stay and pretty good value for Hawaii prices.

A staff member called in the morning to ensure we received our room number and code via email. We arrived a bit early and needed to drop our bags off before going for a tour and they kindly sent a housekeeping staff to open the door for us.
The room was clean and the bathroom looked like recently renovated.

This was a great place to stay for my week-long stay in Kauai. Large room, comfortable beds, useful kitchenette. WiFi was always excellent. Close to a number of shops and the bus stop. I would stay here again.

The view from the property was OK.
The view from the property was OK. There was a cruise ship docked across the way and several garage type businesses across the street. No real ocean view.
The plants are beautiful and it's fun to see the chickens and roosters running around every where you go.

Kapaa seems to be an old town.
Kapaa seems to be an old town. It is not like Poipu or Hanalei but good small town.
We had great meal at Fish Bar Deli, local foods
(spam musubi and chicken karate) to take out at Wailua Drive In, and big bowl of pho at Pho Kapaa. These places were busy with local people and we enjoyed their meals as well as services.

My husband and I traveled to Kauai to celebrate our birthdays and had an amazing time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kauai Lawai Beach Resort C103. Our condo was on the ground floor with a lanai looking out to a garden area. We loved seeing the island chickens and the nightly parakeets flocking to roost in the trees. We were across the street from the beach which was convenient to watch the sunset every night. We had a wonderful time in Kauai. Po'ipu was a great location central to everything we wanted to see.

Every night sitting on the patio we could watch the Green Turtles in the surf. Finally got a picture of one. Loved the Cookies and Candy, The Coffee was the best and a fresh pineapple we really enjoyed. It was like we were finally home.

I live here and just needed to be near the hospital for a procedure, so the location was perfect.
I was unable to eat (except for coffee) or go swimming so did not do any of those things but there are beautiful beaches nearby.
There are so many things I could point out for travelers, but it would take pages!
For me, Lihue is a place to mostly do anything legal, doctors and shopping.

Super nice people, lots to see and do at any pace. We could have used more time there. Food was excellent with everything we tried.
Would have gone to a luau but found it expensive ...save our pennies for next time ;)

Lovely location with good restaurants and a relaxed vibe. Very kid-friendly with keiki menus in all restaurants, and most will accommodate special request. Location is just really, really gorgeous. It is worth driving to Hanalei up north for a day since there is an amazing beach there.

Stayed at Royal Sonesta which was a great base for airport, Wailua river and Waimea canyon. As well as facilities at hotel also had a good choice of restaurants and shops five minutes walk away which is not always the case with hotel resorts. A great choice for a holiday base.

Beautiful small town with many options to try local cuisine. We were only in town overnight for a work trip, looking forward to going back. We had dinner at the Bullshed and the food was amazing! Best prime rib ever, live Hawaiian music and excellent service.

The Spouting Horn was truly spectacular! The Beach House restaurant was just awesome - right on the water with surfers off shore. The seafood was fabulous and the Monkeypod Mai Tai was just delicious!
