Tampa International Airport sits just over 6 miles (10 kilometres) from downtown Tampa. Bus #30 runs between the airport and downtown Tampa, and taxis carry a flat rate of USD 25. SuperShuttle offers a shared-ride, door-to-door bus service between the airport and the city, with travel times of around 20 minutes.

The closest hotel is just a few metres away from the airport, offering soundproof windows and TVs with Netflix and Hulu. Plenty more hotels can be found in the surrounding area. Short and long-term parking is available at the airport, as well as charging points for electronic devices and places to eat and drink.
