Clean, simple, great solution for a short (checked in at 2am- and out at 8am), close to airport. They offered a transfer from airport but we had a car so we did not need. Our room was recently renovated (SEPT 2024 - Room 50)... we are happy we stayed here. Yes it is a simple hotel and not a resort... and it is close to the ferry.

We stayed in The Villa & just loved it. The glass doors open out to a patio where you can sit, looking out over the beautiful pool & an amazing vista beyond. Perfect place to read a book & listen to the birds. Paul & Joan were fabulous hosts, really friendly & helpful but not the slightest bit intrusive. They made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful gardens but most of all the people. The people were just so warm and friendly and helpful we really couldn’t have had a happier stay anywhere.

Perfect for birdwatching. The host Lolita is very nice and caring. Woke up to welcome us and say goodbye to make sure everything went smooth with our very early flights. A free shuttle is leaving the lodge at 8:30am to town and comes back everyday at 3:30pm, which I find wonderful.
