We liked the friendliness and help from the staff, the varied meals in the all-inclusive package. The room was great for my mother (89), with accessible shower. The pool and gardens are very nice.

Free WiFi is available in the entire resort.... Don't be fooled by the modernist utopian feel of the place and interior design reflecting the country's communist past. What this hotel lacks in 21 century design, it compensates with extremely attentive staff who anticipate guests' wishes, and they are always quick to react when help is needed. Another positive is the F&B department which runs as smoothly as a Swiss clock, providing a diverse range of really good food for all tastes and preferences. In short, expect a wonderful stay.

Club Dobogómajor superior is a 18-hectare holiday village at the edge of Hévíz, a 2-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from the centre. Breakfast was good. Big comfortable rooms. Supplied a dog bed with food which was a nice touch. The pools and general facilities were great.
