From the welcoming dance to the good bye blessing and everything in between (beautiful rooms, bathrooms, bed, pillows, comforter, delicious buffet for breakfast to dinner, room service that is available multiple times per day, super nice staff that you feel are doing their best to please you…), it was just the ideal hotel to stay in. I really wish I could stay longer there.

Mermaid Hotel & Club is located at Mahawaskaduwa fishing village in Kalutara, about 39 km from Colombo. This tropical retreat features 2 outdoor pools, a health spa and free parking. We had 10 years wedding anniversary here as our marriage was orginozed in this hotel 10 years ago. Welcoming was so sweet, staff was super kind and foods in the restaurant was amazing. Definitely we will come back here once again.
