Wild Coast Tented Lodge - Relais and Chateaux - All Inclusive is adjacent to the famous Yala National Park, renowned for its dense leopard population. Love love the room so beautiful, attention to detail, staff were amazing every you may want and more is provided and perfect. We saw elephants monkeys buffalo monitor lizards deer mongoose on safari. We even had an elephant wonder through the grounds. Didn’t spot a leopard though others did.

The setting is in the countryside with access to magical walks through rice paddies and farm land with opportunities to connect with friendly locals. Walks can take you all the way to seaside with many bird and water buffalo sightings. The accommodations at Yaye are modest, but adequate. The courtyard setting is beautiful and zen-like. The fish dinner prepared by host was one of the best meals we had while we were in Sri Lanka. Host was gracious and accommodating! Yaye for us was very memorable.

Located in the deep south of Sri Lanka, Chena Huts is just 5-minute away from Yala National Park. Fabulous setting. With very friendly staff. With booking.com you get a daily safari included whilst the tour operators often book 2 per day. Be aware if you cancel you loose the tour which we weren’t aware of and as it was raining heavily we cancelled but as weren’t aware of the policy they did reinstate the tour. Food is lovely and don’t miss sundowners on the beach.

Το Kulu Safaris - All Inclusive βρίσκεται στη Γιάλα, σε απόσταση μικρότερη του 1χλμ. από τη Situlpawwa. Προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν Wi-Fi, κλιματισμό και πρόσβαση σε κήπο με βεράντα. Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Το Kele Yala είναι ένα boutique ξενοδοχείο που βρίσκεται στην ξηρή ζώνη της Καταραράγκας. Προσφέρει εγκαταστάσεις μπάρμπεκιου και εστιατόριο. Το Kele Yala απέχει μόλις 15 λεπτά και 7χλμ. Absolutely beautiful stay - the friendliest staff and the best food we had in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect, they arranged our safaris for us which were fantastic and the staff were so kind with our baby girl. The pool was beautiful and so clean, the rooms were lovely. Honestly can't think of a bad word to say!

Big Game Yala - by Eco Team is located on the edge of Yala National Parks, a 20-minute drive from the Katagamuwa park entrance. The entire team of staff were absolute stars! They messaged us ahead of check in for some final arrangements. Upon arrival, the check-in was quick and the brief was easy to comprehend. We checked in at 3pm and got to do the complementary afternoon bush walk with Malik (and the other kind gentleman I forgot his name). The tent and the surroundings were clean. I loved the sustainability concept. Water is available in a dispenser at reception and the room water bottles are made of glass. Tea and coffee with milk were also free anytime of the day. The playgrounds were nice and big and a couple of kids played cricket freely. They have lockers at the reception to keep your valuables. Again at 9 pm, we went for another complementary bush walk where we saw tarantulas and other nocturnal insects and birds. In the morning, we went for a safari but didn't know that it would extend slightly past the checkout time. The duty manager was kind to us and let us pack our things in no rush. He offered tea and coffee as we waited for our tuktuk which his team ordered. Also..When we checked out, my friend had forgotten her hair clip in the tent and one kind gentleman (one of the housekeeping staff I presume) ran after our tuk tuk to give it to us :) I recommend this place to everyone for an authentic camp experience!!

Everything was super nice, great dinner, friendly staff, the safari was great. They had wine and a very nice pool. We had complementary walks. Would definitely recommend. One of a kind experience.

Μέσα σε δάσος και λίμνη, δίπλα στο εθνικό πάρκο και κοντά στην πιο ήσυχη πύλη Katagamuwa, το κάμπινγκ Leopard Trails επιτρέπει στους επισκέπτες να βιώσουν την άγρια φύση σε άνετες, κλιματιζόμενες... Amazing place and service. The room was beautiful, big and very confortable. Pali, Our guide with whom we did the safari was very nice and had lots of knowledge to share. We learned a lot during the safari with him. The staff were very caring and accomodating on specific diet and dietary requirements and the food was very good. I would definitely go back if I had the chance to travel there again.
