We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere surronded by animals while we were actually ideally located. We saw the lion rock, Dambulla and did 2 safaris from the hotel (Horulu & Wilpattu). You can also find nice restaurants and shops just outside the resort. Hosts are very helpful to give you advice, price, find tuk tuk at any time etc...Everyone was lovely and our deluxe water cottage was very comfortable.

We had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful private cabin. The moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by pure nature — green trees, birds singing, and the occasional peacock proudly walking by. Every morning we woke up to the peaceful sounds of the jungle — monkeys calling from the treetops and fresh air all around. The place felt very safe and calm, yet there was a little sense of wild adventure, which made it exciting. We even saw some wildlife nearby — like colorful birds and playful monkeys. It was magical to be so close to nature but still have the comfort of a cozy bed and our own kitchen.

One of the few places where they honour booking.com price. It's a small place run by a family. Sajeewa is very friendly and helpful. The room is pretty big, so you have a space to store your luggage. It is very clean, no mold, white walls, looks like repainted recently. The AC is new and works well. The bathroom is also new, has a good lightning, hot water. The breakfast was tasty (omelette, bread, butter, roti, fresh juice, tea/coffee etc). The location is quite central if you have a car and very silent. Just a few minutes drive to Sigiriya Rock Foreigners' Entrance. There is a small restaurant and a shop just on the main road, so everything you need is nearby within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time staying for a week at the Tree house. The owner is a chap called Freddy, and he's very nice. He has a tuktuk so can take you to where you want to go. He can also arrange an elephant safari. The Tree house is at the bottom of the garden and is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is served in the garden with monkeys sometimes watching from the trees above. Breakfast and Evening meals are prepared by his mother and is superb. We loved our stay here and we wish Freddy the very best for the future.

The location is perfect for anyone staying in Dambulla. The property is neat, and the rooms have enough amenities to make your stay comfortable. Samith and his brilliant staff are always around for assistance. For instance, our mobile chargers were not compatible with the plug points in the room; Samith bought us 2 new portable plug sockets. We wanted to try the Sri Lankan lamprais for lunch on the day of our arrival. I contacted Samith to get the location of good hotels for that, and he immediately connected me with his chef and got us the dish made specifically for us. Similarly, he arranged an early morning cab for us to visit Pidurangala and later Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. He even, personally, drove us to the airport. PS: Don't miss the complimentary breakfast. It was so elaborate for us with spring hoppers, curry, sambal, 3 types of cut fruits, coffee, and tea.

I had a wonderful stay there. The property is next to the jungle with a beautiful garden where you can spend hours with watching all kind of different birds. It is just a couple of minutes walking distance to the town but it is so quiet and peaceful there. The family is lovely and they help you with everything you need. The facilities are basic but tidy and need.
