We had a spare day, and not knowing this part of Denmark, decided to visit. Lovely vistas from the hotel, (like being on safari) with cattle roaming on the marsh towards the beach. Super quiet, lovely friendly efficient staff, excellent dinner and breakfast. Perfect.

It was great. You share the house with the family that lives there. It was really comfortable and nicely decorated. At your stay the family was away themselves, so unfortunatly we cpuldn't meet them.

The house is lovely and very bright, equipped with blackout curtains to prevent waking up too early. The area is quiet, with clean air, and the only sound is the chirping of animals. The apartment was impeccably clean. There is a TV with Netflix and a good-quality Bluetooth speaker for playing music. Dedicated parking is available in front of the house, and supermarkets and a few restaurants are not too far away (car or bike distance). The hosts were friendly and promptly communicative, yet discreet (they stayed in the house next door, but we barely noticed!). The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and the location, roughly 30 minutes from Roskilde and a little more to Copenhagen, is very convenient.

Providing garden views, Spurvereden ved vandet in Greve Strand provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a bar and a shared lounge.

The appartment is really nice. It’s spacious and comfortable. The garden is awesome. It’s close to the beach. And it’s easy go to Copenhagen with public transport. Annette is a lovely host. And the breakfast is delicious.

A very short walk (+/- 300 m) from the beach, 5½ km down the road to Oscar under the Bridge (one of the 6 Forgotten Giant trolls). Grocery shop 1 minute walk from the hotel.

The accomodation in Danshostel in Faxe is excellent still. I like all, especially very fine peoples, excellent communication, beautiful location. Breakfast is excellent. The kitchen is beatuifull and I am much appreciated for my 3 days here. I can recommend for tourists, researchers, families with children...

Fantastic Stay! We had an absolutely delightful experience during our stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The apartment was spotless and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities we needed, including Netflix, which was a lovely bonus. The location was perfect—just a short 400-meter walk to the nearest grocery store (Føtex Food) and bakery, and only 700 meters to the S-train station, which offers easy access to Copenhagen. The surrounding area was charming, with a lovely station square featuring restaurants, gyms, a dentist, grocery stores, a butcher, and more. Additionally, there was a beautiful beach and marina just a 15-minute walk away, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. You really get incredible value for your money here, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. We will definitely return again!
